John S. Wisniewski
Managing Director
Mr. Wisniewski is a senior executive with more than thirty years of proven success in the areas of operational turnaround, introduction of new products, dynamic growth through acquisitions, financial performance, and managing new organizations. He is skilled at innovative strategic planning, marketing/sales, creative problem solving, and improving bottom line results in both private and public companies.
As a consultant, Mr. Wisniewski provides experienced corporate renewal services, helping clients to focus operations by incorporating lean manufacturing techniques and improving marketing and selling strategies. He has implemented Total Quality Management and Lean Manufacturing cultures in several organizations. Additionally, he has successfully completed strategic acquisitions, partnerships and divestitures to penetrate new markets and implemented rebranding, thereby increasing net income and restore shareholder confidence. Mr. Wisniewski helped a French client, Sodiamex, to manage and overcome severe strategic and operational issues by reorganizing the senior staff, restructuring the outstanding debt and creating and helping to implement a robust sales and marketing strategy.
Mr. Wisniewski worked with another European client, the AmniTec Group, with locations in the US, UK, Sweden, Holland and France, to address their cash flow difficulties resulting from a loss of business due to competitive reasons. He reassigned senior staff, developed a competitive sales and marketing strategy, reduced costs by eliminating 25% of the workforce and creating additional throughput using quality and lean manufacturing techniques.
Mr. Wisniewski served as Chief Operating Officer of Reiss Corporation, a $100 million contract manufacturer of complex electro-mechanical sub-systems in an engineering plastic base technology. Under his leadership, the organization went from being unprofitable for five (5) years to breaking even in three (3) months with a twelve percent (12%) operating profit after the first calendar year.
Mr. Wisniewski also led several divisions of Abbots Organization. He served as President of Garvey Precision Machine, Inc., a manufacturer serving the nuclear navy and power generation, where he grew the company by 250% through strategic acquisitions. He also served as President of AAC Engineered Systems, Inc., which designed and manufactured industrial capital equipment, where he grew the business by 400%, eventually selling it to a strategic buyer.
Mr. Wisniewski also dramatically turned around public company, Comptec, achieving a ranking of 82 out of the top 100 performers on Wall Street. He packaged and sold the business for a 20% premium over the existing trading price.
Mr. Wisniewski was also Vice President and General Manager of Nolu/Arguto, Inc., a manufacturer of engineered plastic components and assemblies. He also served as the International Coordinator manager for The Franklin Mint from 1976 to 1981.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Wisniewski was a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for The Budd Company, serving the automotive industry, and Assistant Manager of Kingsbury, Inc., a manufacturer supporting the power generation and shipping industries.
During his career, Mr. Wisniewski has received national recognition for his achievements. He was a finalist for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, upon a first year submission. In addition, he was a winner of the Greater Philadelphia Quality Award and the City of Erie Quality Award, and additionally, he won the New Jersey Governor's Cup for Entrepreneurial Excellence. He is an active member of numerous industry and management organizations and has served as a board member for several businesses.
Mr. Wisniewski earned his B.S. from LaSalle College and his A.D. in industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
