Rona Rosenblatt
Managing Director
Rona Rosenblatt has expertise helping business leaders to develop, recommend, design and implement cost effective and efficient human resources and recruiting policies, practices and programs that result in enhanced employee motivation and an increase in staff retention. In addition to serving as a consultant with Smooth Engine, she also serves as Managing Principal of TalentMatters and has designed TalentCare that is a portfolio of service offerings focused on the retention of talent. Services include CandidateCare programs, on-boarding programs, employee relations and TransitionCare programs, among others. Additionally, she has extensive direct sourcing and search experience having identified, qualified and placed more than 3,500 candidates at the senior and middle management levels, technical, professional and non-exempt levels. She also provides advice and counsel on employee relations issues assuring regulatory compliance in implementation of human resource policies and practices.
Prior to founding TalentMatters in 1999, Ms. Rosenblatt was at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) for 12 years as the National Director of Recruitment and the Northeast Regional Director of Human Resources, Administration, Technology and Operations Management for the firm's Global HR Solutions practice. At PwC, Ms. Rosenblatt played a key leadership role within the practice, having designed and implemented numerous human resource programs that have been effective and cost efficient to the business resulting in an increase in retention and a reduction in overhead costs.
Prior to joining PwC, she worked with a non-union manufacturer, Myron Manufacturing Corporation, where her primary responsibility was in the area of employment, employee relations and Affirmative Action/EEO policy management. Additionally, she worked for a national architectural firm, Perkins & Will Architects, where she was responsible for recruitment and all human resources functions. She also has experience in the banking industry, having worked at Chase Commercial Corporation.
Ms. Rosenblatt earned her B.A. degree from Rutgers University and has completed Masters level courses on various topics including human resource management and organizational behavior and effectiveness, among others. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management, The American Society of Training and Development, and The Employment Management Association.
