Mary Kay Rafferty
Managing Director

Mary Kay Rafferty is a senior executive with a record of building visibility and sales for global luxury brands Bulgari, Cartier and Hermès. Her strategic vision and hands-on execution skills have developed successful selective distribution channels and integrated marketing campaigns for premium consumer brands, including Yves Rocher Cosmetics.

Ms. Rafferty's professional experience is based in New York and in Paris, where she resided for many years. She is bilingual and bicultural, with extensive experience building cross border, multifunctional teams.

At Bulgari, as a member of the Executive Committee and Global Marketing Committee, she achieved rapid growth through the launch of innovative marketing campaigns in support of a younger brand image, new product lines, including accessories and fragrance, customer relationship management and prospecting through integrated catalog and retail operations, the launch of branded stores and joint marketing programs with leading independent accounts. While at Cartier, she introduced successful promotions in independent retailers and department stores, including competitive, brand enhancing fragrance promotions, and launched the first customer segmentation and database marketing program. The integrated program generated significant sales from customers and prospects, via direct response and retail uplift.

Most recently, Ms. Rafferty launched the first e-commerce site integrated with select retailers and jewelry and watch brands, Enjewel.com, in a B2B and B2C model, bringing the world of selective distribution online. Through joint marketing and an innovative promotion, the site achieved 30MM impressions and aggressive launch goals, prior to the launch of the ad campaign.

Ms. Rafferty's cosmetics experience, based in Paris at Yves Rocher, includes product development and launch, evaluation of product lines, export market assessment and international strategic development plans. Prior experience, as a consultant with Groupe Bernard Julhiet in Paris, includes the development and execution of growth strategies and training programs for industrial and consumer goods businesses.

Ms. Rafferty serves as President of the Association of Sciences Po Alumni, US chapter (alumni of her business school, one of the elite Grandes Ecoles of France, Institut d'Etudes Politques de Paris (Sciences Po)). She also holds a licence (post graduate degree) from Université de Paris, Sorbonne, and a BA from Marquette University. She is an active member of Retail Marketing Society, Fashion Group International Frontliners Committee, and Women's Jewelry Association.
